With the help of our ever-dedicated team, George was delighted to take on the challenge of realising this creative and characterful kitchen within a Grade II listed former rectory in Cornwall. The homeowners graciously described their dream vision, while also providing GRK with the scope to make the absolute best of a unique space of distinguished age and unusual layout.
The wish of the clients to avoid wall units in the design provided opportunity to create a stunning Tulipwood feature wall, crafted to mirror traditional Edwardian panelling. To maximise the available space, we conceptualised a beautifully clean kitchen island that discreetly houses abundant storage, a dishwasher, sink, hob, and bin.
Taking this idea further still, we transformed an existing fireplace into a generous larder unit and incorporated additional storage into a window seat. Following completion of the project, we were absolutely thrilled to receive wonderful feedback from the owners, who certainly made the process all the more joyful from start to finish.
